Ricardo Re-Loved

Secondhand as a sustainable alternative to buying new: This is the focus of the new campaign, which we were commissioned to produce for Ricardo together with the Agency Freundliche Grüsse.

The campaign includes photo subjects and numerous films. Everything was shot during three days in Zurich.

Digital vs. analog – preferably both in combination: The focus of photography and video is on a unique style, bold and direct. For this purpose, the young photographer Emilia Staugaard from Denmark was engaged, who almost exclusively takes analog photographs. Thus, the majority of Ricardo’s subjects are also analog. The lead for the moving image was taken by DOP Nicklas Hemming. The entire film and photo shoot was all about re-use: everything you see in the pictures such as Art Department and Styling, was second-hand, and attention was paid to sustainability, right down to the catering.
