Everything that we saw

Essay film – documentary about the Swiss artists couple Silvia Gertsch & Xerxes Ach for the occasion of their combined retrospective at the art museum of Berne. Their mutual fascination for the depiction of light is the basis for the interpretation of their shared life, as artists and as a couple.

“Everything that we saw” was part of a lecture at the Université de Lausanne, Séction d‘histoire et esthétique du cinéma focusing on the relationship between art and Film. The lecture will be held on May 30th 2017 by Valentine Robert with Garrick J Lauterbach as guest speaker.

Additionally “Everything that we saw” was screened at the Gdańsk National Museum (Danzig) in 2018 in a combined retrospektive of the artists Sivlia Gertsch and Xerxes Ach.
